NINJA Question –

Hey everyone,

I just found out I failed AUD with a 72. I want to retake around October 10 and feel like I should at least add Ninja MCQ. I’m a little confused on exactly how Ninja works. I currently use Becker. How would I incorporate Ninja into my review? Do I use Becker again and just do Ninja MCQ? Any advise would help!

I also plan on retaking FAR in December and would like to use Ninja for it as well. I failed FAR with a 63 and honestly did not put enough effort or time into it.

I used Roger supplemented with Ninja. I highly recommend it.

I used Ninja MCQ for all 4 sections. I used Roger for the videos and textbook. For MCQs, I used Ninja and only used Roger if I saw too many repetitive questions or wanted to mix up the software use a bit.

I also used the following Ninja products:

Notes – FAR
Audio – REG

Again… highly recommended.

I think @Jeff would have the best explanation of how to use as a supplement and as a recourse after a failed exam.

That said – I have not failed once with Ninja. I started with Ninja in order to get past FAR.

I used Becker as well. If you have gone through the videos with Becker, then repeating that sounds like a kind of hell Dante couldn't imagine. I would shift focus to Ninja and only refer back to Becker when you need a second opinion.

Here's what I would do.

1. Get through all Becker material (either vids and/or book). Take good notes (I like to take my own notes).
2. Now you have this mountain of info. Read Ninja Notes – every page once. Now a lot of things will start to gel (it's that 2nd perspective that Ninja provides).
3. Now keep reading and/or listening to Ninja audio periodically. Like someone else said – always consuming. Your “Beatles White album” is called “Ninja Audio”.
4. Go through MCQ in intervals of 30 questions. Do 3 to 4 sessions of “all” questions, then do sessions just on your specific problem areas. Look for the improvement in learning curve. No improvement, no pass. Use the session results to track your performance and use those as your “mock exams”.
5. Take your own notes of learnings in MCQ for both wrong answers and surprising right answers.
6. Be sure to sprinkle in sims – maybe 1 or 2 a day.

I tried to do 60-90 questions a day on FAR, so REG would be similar. Take exam when ready.

Last November I took Far and Audit in the same month and passed both with an 81. Previous FAR score was a 71 and AUD previous was 69. Never used Ninja MCQs before that and I felt like I had a pretty good understanding of the material (used Roger until it expired then switched to Wiley Book). I studied both FAR and AUD for 3 weeks each only using the Ninja MCQs and passed. My strategy for the MCQs only consisted of going through every question and SIM and documenting notes on questions I got wrong and made sure I understood how to correctly answer them. I never did the mock exams either and was able to get through every question two times resetting the progress after a full completion.
