This will be my first time completely studying (adopted the method half way through for AUD) for an exam using the NINJA method. I’m now approaching the Non-Stop MCQs step and was wondering what is the most ideal way to tackle this. Is it best to methodically do 20-30 MCQs for each main study topic until results are constant and then move to the next topic? Or would a better method be doing 20-30 random MCQs from all of FAR until I see I have completed a large number of questions (~1,000).

    I appreciate the input.

FAR - 85 (CPAExcel with Ninja Notes), 71 (CPAExcel)
    AUD - 79 (CPAExcel w/Ninja Notes)
    BEC - 77 (CPAExcel w/Ninja Notes)
REG - July/August 2013, 74 (CPAExcel w/Ninja Notes & NO COFFEE during the AM test!)

I think the important thing with MCQs is to get through as many as you can but make sure to read and understand the correct answer explanation, whether you got the question right or wrong. If you have the Wiley Test Bank you can choose different sections to practice and/or choose to practice questions that you have never seen, barely seen or got wrong.

My strategy, which i think helped me pass BEC, was to go through all the multiple choice questions at least one time and then go back over the ones i got wrong 1 or 2 times or my weaker areas. I also took notes on things i didn't understand well and reread them. The repitition helped me get used to doing MCQs and going through different questions helped to clarify topics i was struggling with.

    ~My 2 cents, hope its helpful.~

    Using Wiley online test bank:

My method for my first 3 sections was to work MCQs over all topics for the first week of review. Then, I had a good sample size to accurately assess my weak areas and I would spend the second week of my final review focusing on weak areas. Also, I would do at least one 30 question practice session a day over all topics to stay fresh on everything that last week. This has worked great for me so far and hopefully I will get the same results for my last section.

    FAR - 81 (8/31/12)
    AUD - 93 (10/19/12)
    BEC - 79 (11/27/12)
    REG - 92 (2/8/13) DONE! All 1st attempt!
