    NINJA Question –

    Anyone else having this issue?
I would submit an answer and it would take forever to load. Then after displaying the correct answer I would click to go to the next questions, again, it would be super slow.

Tried logging out and restarting my browser.
    Using Firefox
    any advice?

I just logged into mine to see how it worked, lightening fast! I'm using Chrome, and when I hit the button it was on the next question without any issue, almost no delay.

I use NINJA at work (mainly, once I think about it), so the internet speed should be fast (have no idea how to check). I don't remember how long it took on my laptop but I've rarely used NINJA on my laptop regardless. I don't think I'm allowed to download firefox so I have to use Chrome. IE's even slower and I don't even like their interface.

I'm even starting a session right now to time it out.

    MCQ session of 10
It takes about a minute to load the session.
There is a lag of varying lengths between 10-30 seconds per answer submission.
    This is ONLY for MCQ.

Not even including the issues I've had with SIMs, when I've inputted an answer and it absolutely refused to even respond to my click, until I just chose to submit the SIM and had to redo the SIM.

I have cleared my cache based on suggestions. This isn't to say that it's ALWAYS slow, but it's mostly slow. Just 11 more days…so I'm going to get my use out of all of it.

hasy – it isn't the internet speed that's the issue most-likely. It's the ISP setup and the routers/firewall combinations, etc.

Firewalls don't play nice with NINJA MCQ and load times. My guess is that if you jumped onto your phone or used your phone to tether to your laptop/computer (instead of the corporate network), it would be faster.

Ninjas cant be slow and sluggish! Defeats the purpose of being a Ninja!

MCQs are still slow to load.

Tried at six different locations (home, work, library 1, library 2, Starbucks, school)

How do I change the firewall setting? Using both Chrome and Firefox?

I wonder why only Ninja has problems with firewalls when 99.99% of other sites people use are not problematic.

I use chrome on a chromebook. I am not a pro by any means. I am offering 2 cents as help and nothing else.

The load times seemed annoyingly slow at times. When I saw the thread, I thought I'd keep track of slow responses.

I use apptelemetry extension in chrome. It gives you load times for every page and breaks it down by issue. See https://www.fabasoft.com/en/apptelemetry/page-speed-monitor

Out of 50 questions, 13 loaded slower than 10 secs which is 26%. Most times pages load in a second or less. Sometimes it takes 3-5 seconds. That is acceptable I guess. Problem is when it gets into 20 seconds.

Out of the 13 instances, 4 pages was questions and 9 were answers. When the questions loaded over 10 seconds, avg load time was 16 seconds and avg redirect was 7 secs and avg TCP requests were 9 secs.

In the 9 instances were pages loaded were answers, avg load time was 19.4 seconds. Redirects caused 17.6 sec delays and TCP requests caused avg 1.8 seconds delays.

It might be worth looking into what's causing the redirects at web app level. I don't think it's bad enough to make people not want to use the MCQ suite, but there is definitely room for some improvement.

After enduring this type of “speed” five times over (I've bought FAR MCQ twice), I really would not prefer enduring it a 6th time. I would like to say that it's not the CONTENT of the software but the speed of it. Those who are reading this, don't be discouraged of buying this product.

I was having the same issue of super slow load times in between questions and I after I turned my firewall off and cleared my cache it made a big difference.

    Its worth a try.

It's definitely slow. Whether I'm on my laptop at work or my laptop at home. Both are slow at times for no reason.

I've had this problem too, how do I clear my cache? I'm technologically illiterate.
