    NINJA Question –

Hi everyone. I just took FAR at the beginning of November (pretty sure I failed – I’ll find out for sure tonight). I barely made it through all the Roger lectures and just really feel like I didn’t get enough questions in to prepare myself. So I’m regrouping and want to know the best way to conquer this thing b/c I know I CAN. I have a million questions and would be so grateful if someone could help me out! TYIA!

Can anyone give me their study plan using Roger & Ninja MCQ?
Do you go through all the Roger lectures and then hit the MCQ’s at the end? If so, how long of a time period do you give yourself once you finish the lectures?
Also, I keep seeing people reaching a new level in Ninja MCQ, what does this mean? How do you get there?
Can you customize the Ninja questions to fit what your studying in Roger and practice as you go. I feel like I would forget things from the beginning of the course.

Study plan is usually something you modify as you study, since you do what works best for you. I love Roger, (maybe not for REG bc it seems he does NOT prepare you well). As I study for my last exam, I did NOT watch all the lectures for every chapter. Too much time. Reason being is that if he's just reading from the book, it's a waste of time. So I skipped the lectures where it was MOSTLY writing. When there's math and graphs, then I would start listening to the lecture and see whether it was worth it to finish it.

After each chapter, I would always use his IPQ (at least 30) and then slowly, customize the NINJA questions based on the sections I've finished. NEW questions on NINJA ONLY, or else you'll mess up your trending score.

There are 2 levels, adaptive and review. Adaptive is self-explanatory. Review is when you have SEEN all the questions and have answered them correctly at least once. The closest I've got to is -5 questions away from AUD Review phase, it is SO hard…I don't even think review is that helpful if you look at the questions so much that you start memorizing them, which is an easy trap to fall in with AUD.

As I finish new sections in Roger, I would only do cumulative sessions on NINJA. It's customizable, just gotta look at the categories. I took FAR twice too and the second time, I ONLY watched the lectures if I had some confusion, otherwise, I didn't watch them again.

Nooooo. I knew I wouldn't. I made a 52. I would get discouraged and not study efficiently. I know I can do it now though! I just need to be disciplined and stay positive.
