I have used Roger for REG, BEC and AUD and have had pretty good luck and felt well prepared. I am attempting a hail mary with FAR on March 9th and hoping to be done with this exam. With a shortened time line I am wanting to use my time as wisely as possible and focus on the areas that will most definitely show up on the exam. In my experience, Roger’s books have lots of info that is extraneous and the FAR section has far too many lectures for me to get through between now and test time. I was thinking of focusing on the heavily tested areas and simply watching lectures and reading the lesser tested areas, but now I am considering ONLY using Ninja for the next month to prepare for this section. Is NINJA more streamlined and can I get through all of the material in one month with studying 3-4 hours a day or is it more of a review tool? Any input is appreciated.

If this is your first pass at FAR, I wouldn't short cut it, sorry-probably not what you want to hear. You can reference the blueprint to see which sections might be SIMS (marked “Analysis”)-and make sure you know those well, as well as government and NFP-says it's only 5-15% but is very heavily tested in MCQ. For me, Ninja has always been a great review tool. Their SIMS aren't great, but MCQ testbank is very good an their statistics help guide you along.

It is my first crack at FAR. I don't want a short cut necessarily, just want spend my time between now and then as efficiently as possible.
