I did not pass BEC the first time using only Roger material.

I recently bought the MCQ from NINJA as well as the notes to get a fresh look on the information.
I am primarily using my Roger BEC book to study and then doing Ninja MCQs.

There are questions in Ninja MCQ that are based off of concepts that I don’t even have in my Roger book. This makes me feel overwhelmed because I feel like I am studying whole new material, which is taking me forever.

Is anyone else going through this as well? I feel the same as when I was taking the actual CPA exam. There were questions that were based off of a familiar topic, yet the answer choices were very random and I had never had any of the definitions of them in my book.

In my case I had Rogers and Ninja MCQ. I bought Ninja because I felt Roger questions were kind of basic/easy. Your're gonna be overwhelmed at first with Ninja because they ask about topics not discussed in Rogers, it happened to me too. But stick to NINJA, I felt Ninja was the reason for my passing score. Ninja questions are harder than the actual exam

I do agree that Roger's questions seemed quite simple compared to the actual exam.
I will keep going with Ninja and continue learning new things then.

Roger's questions are good for when you're first going through the material. I like that you can bookmark some of the harder questions so you can come back and practice them. He has a bunch of the same mcq's as Ninja, but Ninja has a lot of “WTF is this?!” type questions that will make you pull your hair out. I prefer Ninja's explanations and I like how they have links to the material. I use the explanations and links to make notes in a Word document.
