NINJA Question –

Okay guys, I’m scheduled to take FAR on 2/27. And I’m reviewing. Should I reset my stats on my NINJA MCQs for my review? Has that helped anyone get a better feel of how prepared they are?

I’ve worked every single question at least once.. Here are my stats..

Total Question Attempts: 3,477

Questions not answered correctly: 214

Average score: 60%

Trending score: 78.8%

Time spent: 93.5 hours

*Disclaimer.. I think my trending score may be skewed upward a tiny bit because when I first started studying, I was working questions section by section until I got them all right.. I just wanted to make sure I made it through every single question..

For AUD and BEC I reset my stats about a week before the exam, just so that I can run through every question 1 more time with the “only new questions” feature and then I can target questions I am still getting wrong.

Another quick question.. How did you know you were actually retaining the information? I've worked so many MCQs I see them in my sleep.. But I'm worried that I'm not actually retaining the info.

@acollins423 to make sure I wasn't just simply remembering the answers, but actually understanding why the answer was correct, I would talk to myself like “ok well I know the answer is C. $45,000 but this is how you calculate it”. Then I would actually do the whole calculation to get to the $45,000 answer and read the explanation to make sure I actually did the calculation correctly. It may sound tedious since you already know the answer but it will help you to actually understand the underlying concepts.
