NINJA Question –

I keep seeing several of the same multiple choice questions during my evaluation phase… is this normal? I got these questions correct twice, sometimes three times. Why do I keep getting them again? Is it just a part of the adaptive learning to be sure that I know the concept?

I have wondered the same thing. I have had the same question during the same set of questions more than once too. I have also seen some questions quite a few times and answered them correctly in the adaptive phase. I guess as long as I get a 75 it will be fine!

the questions you get are mostly random (within the categories/areas targeted). I wouldnt worry about it. I have got the same question twice on the CPA exam. once within the same testlet and once on separate testlets (i dont think that violates anything but if you think it does say something and ill edit)

taxman89, I don't think that violates anything any more than saying, “I got two research questions,” or “I got medium-hard-hard.” It's not content based, so I think you're okay.

With that said, I once got the same question (worded slightly differently) THREE times in one exam. Once in testlet 1, and twice in testlet 2. Makes total sense in judging my adequacy to be a CPA, right?
