NINJA Question –

I’m going through SIMs (just a couple to cap off extensive MCQ sessions each night) in both the WTB and NINJA MCQs. I am scoring no higher than 50% on these and I’m scoring in the 80s-90s on all my MCQ sessions. I honestly think I’d do fine with the SIMs if the objectives were more clearly stated. For people who’ve passed REG, was this your experience on exam day and did you just literally go with your gut? Based on the practice SIMs it seems like most of the fields are based on getting that initial assumption correct, and that there aren’t those opportunities for cherry-picking a few easy points in data fields like I found in FAR/AUD. (I have seen a few fairly straight forward SIMs, just don’t expect to see them on exam day).

In my opinion, those reg sims are harder than any of the other sections; you can't really study for them. I just hit the multiple choice questions really hard and hoped I would have the conceptual understanding for the SIMS. Some may tell you different, but I wouldn't take the time to specifically study them, you will learn the material through the MCQ's.

Thanks, I haven't really spent much time on them at all. After I hit my study goal the past few nights, I've opened up a few out of curiosity. They look rough.
