NINJA Question –

So I’m retaking my REG exam November 30th and just purchased the Ninja MCQ to hopefully give me that extra confidence I need. I’ll be done with Becker Final Review this weekend and plan on just doing the MCQ after that. Does anyone have any suggestions or do you think I’ll need more time? I scored 71 the first time around so I’m fairly confident with the material.

How many hours did you put in?

Did you read all Becker chapters? How many MCQs did you finish? What has been your average score?

How many study hours a day do you have for the remaining period?

I would say it sounds like you have both spent plenty of time already, and have plenty of time left before the exam – but difficult to say for sure without knowing more about your study plan.

When I first studied I watched every single lecture, completed every simulation & multiple choice question Becker offered in the regular review program (didn't exactly track my “hours”). I received their Final Review program and will complete that this weekend – Lectures, Multiple Choice Questions AND Simulations. After that I will have 2 full weeks to study. I will study approximately 2-3 hours every night, longer on the weekends of course.

Sounds like you have spent quite some time already, I think 2 weeks will be sufficient as long as you make sure to absolutely maximize in the weekends. And make sure to have a plan in terms of what topics you should cover first and second. I assume you got some notes too, make sure to study while you take NINJA MCQs these 2 weeks, and identify your weaker areas during the first week.

Are you scoring at least in the 60s now on the Becker MCQs?

Yes I am scoring at least in the 60s with Becker, I'm stronger in the Individual Taxation and some Law so those are usually higher. I really need to focus on the Corporation taxation
