Hi Ninjas, I am wondering are Ninjas FAR SIM more difficult than real exam or not? Or not comparable at all?

I just finished taking FAR for the second time an hour ago. I am really pissed. The simulations killed me. Once again I had a bunch of Sim topics that I have never seen. To top it off I ran out of time and couldn't even find the correct answer to the research question. I never have problems with the research questions.

I got a 70 the last time and started studying for audit right after. Now i'm not sure what to do.

I know how to do all the becker and a71 sim questions.

I thought NINJA Far sims were pretty accurate. But on the flip side, it is hard to judge because FAR is such a damn crapshoot when it comes to sims.

thank you for your comments, LazyLightning. Don't be so update too early, you may did better than you thought. However, it sounds like the FAR is getting more and more unpredictable than it was. I guess we just need to understand everything.

I think the problem with the sims is that they want you to put stuff in some type of table or format that doesn't make any sense. For example, I know how to compute Basic and Diluted EPS but that table thing you are asking me to fill out doesn't make ANY sense!

I just took my FAR a couple hours ago. You were right. SIMS were a killer. I didn't think MC was that bad at all…. I def. ran out of time. SIMS were so long.. journal entries after another. It was in no where comparable to Becker hw sims or practice exam sims. For one of them, they even ask to search that authoritative literature to figure out the answer. Now that I think back, I left one of them completely bank. I really ran out of time. I'm prepare to retake….sigh
