    NINJA Question –

So, Jeff says that it’s recommended to hit the review stage and be trending around 85%-90% in review stage.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but since you need to get every question right at least once, won’t you be trending 100%? Or is my understanding of the software’s algorithm off?

    Thanks for any insight!

I'm not sure this is how it works, but I do know hitting review stage means you've answered every question correctly once – i'm assuming the trending score takes into account all your incorrect attempts, too. So while you may have answered every question correctly once and hit review stage, that doesn't mean there aren't still areas the algorithm thinks you could use work on based on prior attempts.

I believe the review stage begins when you've attempted every question once.

A trending score of 100 means that you answered every question correctly the last time you saw it. Go back and miss a question, your score will drop below 100. Go back a second time and answer that missed question correctly and you're back at 100. I know this because I did it for all 4 of my sections.

Yes, the review stage begins when you have answered every question correctly at least once. Immediately upon reaching the review phase your trending score is, indeed, 100%. However, if you continue to answer questions during the review phase your trending score will fluctuate depending on how you score on those attempts. I just hit the review phase for REG last week.

FAR: 80 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
REG: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
BEC: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
    AUD: 8/27/16

Because your trending score can hit 100% when you get to these levels, it is important to be strategic in your approach and to watch the average score more than the trending.
