    NINJA Question –

Anyone here passed REG with just the MCQs and Ninja notes? Really want to be sure it is possible to skip out on the book and focus on the MCQs the most because I hate reading. I plan on doing 5000 MCQs or more! At the same time, I will take notes on incorrect questions so most of my valuable time will be learning from doing MCQs over and over, I am also using the Ninja Audio and Notes every day as well.

I'd strongly recommend getting yourself familiar with the various tax documents 1040, 1120, K1, Schedules, etc. You may end up with a number of Document Review SIMs and you don't want these documents to be foreign to you. Understand where various items go on them and how they flow/relate to one another. MCQs won't be able to help you with that.

For REG I used becker, but I didn't read the book. I did the MCQs and then I also did Ninja MCQs .
Like @Cruz said, is to be familiar with those forms. If I found any concept a little hard or confusing, I used taxmap.irs.gov a lot as well, it would explain in things in “plain english” and follow up with examples as well. Can get to be lengthy at times, so use the “ctrl+f” to find the key-words to shift thru.
    Just a suggestion.

Example: MACRS Depreciation: Followed by examples

    Best of luck!

Thanks guys, I had no idea they expected us to do tax documents! I will definitely integrate that into my studies before my test. Thanks for the heads up @Cruz818 and @YouCanDoIt

Definitely agree with the first two posts – learn the tax forms/schedules, it's not something you want to try to learn and understand during the exam. However, for the most part, MCQs generally give the most bang for the buck as long as you use them correctly, good luck
