    NINJA Question –

I really like the idea of the Ninja audio and being to listen to it on the go consistently…i have a 45 minute commute and it would take away a lot of downtime. I haven’t used any video preparation before, so I’m curious to that as well. I was wondering if anyone has used both and what they may recommend. Thanks!

I like them both. The audio works well when I'm driving and I recall several things from the audio when I'm actually taking the test. The videos are good too as a highlight of the material with slides.

I agree both are great! I would go as far as to say they are “Game changers.”

The notes and Audio go very well together. Hearing the info and reading the info really helped it to sink in. I think the notes are the most important, but with a 45 minute commute you will get ALOT out of the audio. The notes contain the NINJA frame work that works with any review course. I highly recommend NINJA.

I just recently bought ninja Audio for Audit and have been listening to the first two chapters. Its very helpful!! I love how each chapter is not too long but is long enough for you to get the information right. It supplements Becker very nicely!

I hv not used the videos so I cant comment on that. However I did use Ninja notes for Reg (not taken Reg yet), but honestly I did not like the notes that much. I found that to use the Reg notes effectively I had to finished all of my Becker material to make sense of them. The audio is not like that at all. You can follow along with your review course nicely.

I really like the Ninja audio for use when I'm driving. Even with my 15 minute commute, I find it well worth it. I can listen to all of a short section or most of a longer section on my drive. When I find myself zoning out and thinking about other stuff, I repeat back to Jeff to make sure I'm staying engaged. I've been listening to FAR, which is my next test.

I haven't used Ninja video yet for FAR, but I had free access right before I took AUD, and it was very helpful. For a visual person like myself, the slides were very succinct summaries, and I think they'd be good for taking notes from. He has some crazy ways to remember stuff, and crazy works for me 😉

I also haven't used the notes at all for FAR yet (I only bookmarked the sections of the PDF), but I had the free section that Jeff gives you for AUD, and it had some really good diagrams that helped me remember the differences on reporting for audit/review/comp/AUP. Again, perfect for a visual learner.

They don't cost that much. I think they offer incredible value for the cost.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)
