    NINJA Question –

So I picked up NINJA MCQ as a supplement to Becker to study for my retake for AUD. My exam is in a week and all the nerves and insecurities are starting to ramp up. I am currently trending at 83%, but have taken 3 practice exams and scored 71%, 72%, and 74%…on the practice exams I have averaged anywhere from 83-90% overall on MCQs and am generally in the 50s overall on the SIMs.

Does anyone else have experience with NINJA Practice Exams vs their actual exam score? I am right there but seeing that I can’t get higher than a 75% on a practice exam worries me a little bit. Your words and advice are appreciated!

My $.02: I'm not a proponent of practice exams…I would do topic-specific sessions in study mode (you get answer right away) instead.

Jeff's right, you're not going to learn the material by doing practice exams.

I do like the practice exams for getting a feel for how fast you need to work on the actual exam – which is something I don't think people take into account when preparing, based on the number of exam experiences here that include something like “I ran out of time on the sims.”
