    …and now for the announcement I’ve been hinting at.

    I’m sure many people figured it out – or something close to it:

    NINJA CPA Review has acquired the CPA Review assets from Thomson Reuters – including the “Bisk CPA Review” course, as it was once known.

    The videos are the ninja-friendly price of $67/section for 3 months of access.

    Nice. Funny enough I got a scholarship for one of Reuter's sections from a BAP convention. When I finally wanted to use it, oh, it is discontinued. Business continuity for you. So this is for a video package or it comes with its own practice question bank too?

    This is the video package. For the questions, we have NINJA MCQ.

    $67 is kind of like getting a scholarship 🙂

    How will updates be handled? I know you said in the post that the videos will be updated as needed. Will Monette be recording updated material?

    Do the videos come with a handout of the questions discussed? I noticed in the FAR videos he would ask that you do the “homework” before watching the next lecture.

    @Jordan Clark – Bob passed away last year, actually. I will be doing the updating as needed.

    @Whit
    – In the beta test, the consensus was that the handouts weren't necessary for the videos and they're not included with the videos.

    That's really sad to hear. He was a very good lecturer, straight to the point the way I like it.

    Hey Jeff, so if my Becker expires do you think getting these videos along with Ninja MCQ would be sufficient to pass? I don't have the extra money to renew my becker license right now. Thanks.

    I will say to anyone considering purchasing the videos, before the beta period I did not have a good understanding of leases at all. After watching Bob's videos on leases I can answer almost 90% on lease questions. It's definitely worth it for $67.

    If you use NINJA MCQ like a “review course” instead of just a “test bank” then yes.

    Jeff, I hope you and the Ninja Team will be making a major overhaul to the Bisk materials. They were just horrible when I used it was was why I dumped them.

    The videos are fine and user feedback for the beta test was great….several demos from each section are available to check out.

    The rest of the materials need a good ninja-ing and they'll be good to go.

    I actually purchased Ninja PLUS 2 days ago for BEC and it saved me on IT and Eco parts!!! Just LOVE it! For last two week of studying as a review- it works perfect! I even got better understanding of some concepts that I though I knew. And the structure- lecture + ppt on the side- just like at school- it was nice experience. I will buy other 3 sections too. It worth your money for sure! I felt lucky to get it 2 days before my BEC exam 🙂
