NINJA Question –

Hi!

Im thinking of getting a supplementary course to Becker to help with MCQs and SIMS.
Not sure which is better Wiley or NINJA?

I use Wiley for my main course and then I have the Ninja scout package that I've been using as a review. I enjoy both MCQ's. I have not done any NINJA sims yet but I'm sure they're good as well. I have the Wiley platinum pack (extra test bank) and have used the test bank for maybe 50 extra questions. All of my review has been from the NINJA MCQ's. I chose this route due to the trending/actual results on the NINJA MCQ's.

It's good to have both Wiley and NINJA. I have not taken the exam yet (taking FAR on the 19th) so I cannot tell you how well it works, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd probably pick NINJA. I don't think you can really go wrong though.

since you already have becker, I would go with NINJA and the scout package. Having both Becker and Wiley can be rather expensive and overkill.

Definitely Ninja. I have Wiley and much prefer my Ninja materials/test bank. I barely touch my Wiley package these days, unless I need some extra help on a topic. I rely on the Ninja test bank to prepare me for the exams.

Do you think it worked well for FAR Jennifer? I “learned” everything through Wiley and it took about 6 weeks, now been doing MCQ's through NINJA and haven't touched Wiley. I feel like NINJA MCQ's is preparing me better but I've yet to take my first exam. Will be continuing to do NINJA MCQ's and begin work on sims in these final 7 days.

@Bourne, I do feel like it worked well for FAR. I took FAR back to back last fall and got a 69 both times. I used Wiley primarily.

This summer I switched up my study methods and used just Ninja. I passed both the exams I took last window using this method. I had previously taken AUD 4 times and the highest I'd received was a 69. This summer I cleared AUD with an 85, and FAR with an 82. I'm sticking with this method for REG and BEC this window. 🙂

You're doing mostly just the MCQ's, notes, and audio I assume? I'm trying to get a feel on the best way to study, as I'm taking FAR on the 19th and then AUD on December 7th. I feel like I may be similar to you in that the NINJA materials may work better for me, but won't know for sure for quite some time still.

That's correct. I'm essentially just answering questions, and making sure I understand the explanations for them all. Taking some notes when necessary for memorization purposes. On areas I'm weak I'm reading or watching videos to help strengthen. Reading the notes any chance I get. Listening to the audio in the car. But really, just trying to make sure I understand the topics as well as possible and answering as many questions as I can.

I'm in a similar boat. I've completed about 1000 NINJA MCQ's, not trending very well, but I've definitely picked up on more info but just continuously completing the questions. Let's hope for the best, and good luck on your final two.

Just keep plugging away. Make sure you get out of the assessment phase and it will be easier to see where your weak areas are. I was trending around 70-75 for the last two with about 40 hours in the Ninja test bank.
