    Hi!
I am about to start reviewing for FAR, my test is scheduled for December 7. I just came across these study materials and have read many stories of how these helped people pass or gain those extra points that are needed. I know everyone has their own studying techniques that help them, but can anyone share their experience with using these notes or MCQs and which ones they found to be more useful. I am looking to just either get the notes or the NINJA MCQs, but I would love to hear what people thought was more useful to them during their studying.

    Thank you!

    AUD – 69
    FAR – DEC 7
    REG – N/A
    BEC – N/A

I am also using Becker, I have done the lectures and MCQs through there. Did you use the MCQs for your exam?

yes…for BEC and now AUD,,,they are def worth the $47 for extra practice,,,i failed on BEC first try but i only studied for 2-3 weeks and was in the middle of a kitchen reno which distracted me,,,plus BEC is extremely random,,,id say they are more difficult than actual exam,,,IMO you cant keep doing MCQs from one source because your start to just memorize,,,thats why i obtained MCQs from multiple sources in order to see new ones,,,i'd say invest in the MCQ parts as you take sections,,,i probably wouldnt purchase the package for double the money just to get 1 year access tho…ive been waiting until 2-3 weeks before the test to purchase that section in case i need a retake itll still be active for the next window

by the way you should be trying to pass BEC and REG before April,,most important

u can find coupon codes too but sometimes the purchase order doesnt have a field to enter them,,,guess its Jeffs way of controlling the discount process rather than just cancelling/issuing new codes

I agree, I think while I was studying for Audit that became my problem, I realized I was memorizing the answer or the question rather than logically thinking it if I redid them.

Well my original plan was to have majority of them done by now, but unfortunately I graduated from grad school in May and couldn't sit before that because of the rules in Ohio and then it took forever to get my NTS. Also, I just started working last month and have been in busy season due to the odd year-end of this company so I have been working 60+ hours a week and have way less time to study or find time to study. That is also why I am really hoping I can pass FAR the first time and then keep moving on to REG and BEC to get those over with before April comes. Hoping these MCQs will help.

I did find some codes so I will try those for sure, thank you for your help!

I personally paid for the notes and find them worthless.

The MCQ are great and I wish I would have used them for the previous 3 sections of the exam.

    BEC: 85
    REG: 74, 78
    AUD: 86
    FAR: October?

@finklejm… the MCQs are a must, especially if you already have another main course you are using and just need to change things up. In my opinion the NINJA notes are also helpful, and really help highlight the important areas for each section, but if I had to choose only one in your situation it would be MCQ.

Also, @StickyNicky stated NINJA isn't sufficient by itself, and that it's just supplemental… however that's incorrect.

Years back there were only notes and audio. Now there's much more- I've used a combination of the notes, book, audio, and MCQ and passed 2 exams this year… NINJA is my main study course, not a supplement. I know everyone is different in their learning styles but this has worked bestfor me so far (and I've tried Becker & Wiley in the past).

I bought the Ninja MCQ a week before I took AUD (Was using Wiley study guide and test bank prior to that) and it made a huge difference. I would find myself going back to the study guide on questions I got wrong in Ninja only to find that there is little/no info on it in the study guide, so the additional material in the form of MCQ is very useful. I definitely think it's worth the money.

Key to pass these exams is learning the concept and not memorizing it. I did that with FAR and failed. I think you can still pass with just using Ninja products (lot of people have done it successfully). But yeah if you are memorizing then there is a problem. Good to supplement MCQ's. I use Wiley just for MCQ and ninja ten-point combo. FAR is beast of all so make sure you understand the concept. Questions on any topic is fair game, so know it all (then we cant know it all). I got questions on topics I least expected. You can do it!! Good luck!!!
