Nope – you can study with July 2014 materials for REG.

REG's big update is mid-year when they test new tax laws.

If you update by 12/22 and I get MCQ now, how would I get the updated MCQ questions midway through?

The MCQ database will automagically update…it will be coming soon.

Jeff, wouldn't that “screw” up the current MCQ scores somehow? Or are you just adding (not removing)? If you're just adding, I guess we'll just get a higher number of MCQ questions to do. Thanks.

Some sections will get more questions…some questions will get updated…it won't mess with the metrics.

When does the testing material for FAR change?

BEC: FEB 2014 :PASSED
REG: MAY 2014: PASSED
AUD: NOVEMBER 2014: PASSED
FAR: MAY 2015: PASSED

Yes – they will affect the unanswered…that's true.

FAR material changes January….some new items are testable.

What is so special about Ninja? I hear a lot about it.

I need FAR and REG.

I'm currently using Becker.

The NINJA materials are much more streamlined and easier to digest than the other review courses I've seen so I'm a lot less likely to glaze over while trying to get to the meat of the material. Jeff also does a good job with oddball ways to remember things instead of just saying to memorize it.

I honestly can't define why the NINJA MCQ's are so much better at prepping you than Becker, Yaeger, etc, but in my opinion they definitely are and are so so so much cheaper on top of that.

For all of the exams except REG, are the changes testable as of January 1? I have a BEC retake schedule for January 15 and am just wondering if the changes are that huge
