    NINJA Question –

I am sure this has been asked before but I did a search and could not really find an answer to my question.

Which Test Bank gives you questions most similar to the actual exam?

I ask this because I have both WTB and Ninja MCQ. I’ve noticed that although the underlying concepts still apply I cant help but notice that the way questions seem to be asked are just very different. If anyone has experience with using both products before taking FAR I would greatly appreciate any feedback. I just want to know which program I should use in my last 2 days of review to drill MCQ. I am going to be using the Wiley SIMs for my review of SIMs since when I did a search some people preferred the WTB, more than Ninja.

I just took a random 30 questions from Ninja and scored a 70, I have done about 850 MCQ using WTB because I was using it while reviewing each chapter. Average score is a 68.

I might just start using WTB when I do another review of certain topics and just use NINJA MCQ for a practice test? or just to do MCQ I have never seen I guess.

    FAR 81
AUD 65, 84 (Used Ninja MCQ which I say contributed to my huge increase in score I love you Jeff)
REG 87 (CPA excel Wiley Self Study Book, Ninja 10 point combo)
BEC 86! I Must Pass or I lose my FAR Credit, Pray for me(Becker, Wiley, WTB, Ninja MCQ, Ninja Notes)

    DONE!!!!!!

Using : Wiley CPA Exam Review Textbook, Wiley TB, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQ

I've always done WTB only up until now which I just started using NINJA MCQ. Both are helpful and I'd do some of Wiley and some of NINJA. I have a easier time with Wiley which isn't all that good since it just means a lot of the answers are memorized. Since you haven't done all that many questions for Wiley, you could just stick with it but I would recommend mixing in some NINJA.

That's very good but how have you found the simulations on the NINJA MCQ? I think they are great and difficult to the extent that they are comparable to the actual exams simulations.

Then you're good because you will get most of the points off JEs anyways.

Yeah I plan on just doing a comprehensive review and go over some weak points today and going through the SIMs in WTB. I dont know If I will do all of them but at least look at them. The pension one really helped me understand some of the concepts. I will probably use the ninja MCQ and tomorrow which is my last day Ill just keep doing Ninja and WTB MCQ till I reach about 120-150 and stop and relax before my exam.

The questions seem the same. But how about the “user interface”? I got a lot out of NINJA b/c I had an opportunity to go back and review questions that I got wrong. Does WTB do this???

It does, you could go back to the ones you missed and even bookmark some questions to come back to later. I also like how you could select questions you have not seen before. This is good if you start feeling you have just memorized the answers from seeing them so many times.

@ijustwant76 Yes WTB has practice mode where you can go through questions and they give you an explanation just like Ninja MCQ, The thing about WTB that I like is that I can choose the topics I want to be test on. I do feel though that both interface's are different and the manner in which they are asking questions are different as well.

My original question just to point it out there is which interface has their questions worded more closely to the actual exam?

Hmmm, so what's the difference between Ninja and WTB, other than price and possible the # of questions???

Just getting a different set of questions. Both are very good and similar in some ways. I like the variety of simulation for the Ninja program and they have the feel of the actual exam. I'd recommend using both as I will do that from now on.

One can only take so many MCQs!!! I would say focus on one or the other. If you fail, then buy the other one just to get different set of questions.
