NINJA Question –

Does anyone else feel like the Ninja MCQ consists of about 75% of the same questions that Becker offers? I’ve noticed this in REG, and now Audit.

really? im planning to add it this time to becker after getting a 70 in FAR.

i felt like Becker was not enough for SIM

Both use AICPA-licensed questions, so there will be some overlap – I have no idea how much, though.

NINJA has around 2,000 more MCQ than the Wiley Test Bank, but I'm not sure about the others out there.

NINJA has different answer explanations, however, concept reinforcement via text reference, relevant keywords, and adaptive learning algorithm.

I think that you will encounter many of the same questions from the various mcqs providers. My reasoning is that most, if not all, draw from the questions released that were used on previous exams.

That being said, not all mcq databases are the same. What I like about the Ninja mcqs is that is tracks the average scores as I go along as well as my overall progress. The format is pretty user friendly and I like that I can drill down on certain topics that I need to focus on. Yes, I saw several ninja mcqs that were identical to some of the sample problems from my Bisk books. However, ninja just doesn't say correct or incorrect. There is an explanation for each problem and links to the authoritative literature for each question.

What Jeff says is right. All the major test banks use the AICPA Licensed test bank questions which are the same for everyone so the test banks will have duplicate questions.

I felt there was a ton of overlap between Becker and Ninja on FAR.

However, on BEC there was hardly any overlap of questions.
