    NINJA Question –

    We are doing some maintenance – including getting rid of the “Do Not Study” questions.

    YAY!

    The downside is that it will be offline for a few hours and possibly into the am.

    Just a heads-up.

    Is this going to mess our stats up on ninja MCQ?

    Fingers crossed that it won't.

    I was able to log into the MCQ. I am unsure if you are done, so I am scared to touch anything. Will you update this when you are done? I am sure you will 🙂

    I just logged in and it looks like it was updated (REG only has 1671 questions now) and didn't lose my stats!

    I can log in and do everything as normal up to the point where I try to actually launch questions. Then I get this no matter what browers I use. I tried clearing cookies and all of that. I can't use MCQ currently:

    Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

    Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a “web.config” configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its “mode” attribute set to “Off”.

    <!– Web.Config Configuration File –>

    <configuration>
    <system.web>
    <customErrors mode=”Off”/>
    </system.web>
    </configuration>

    Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the “defaultRedirect” attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

    <!– Web.Config Configuration File –>

    <configuration>
    <system.web>
    <customErrors mode=”RemoteOnly” defaultRedirect=”mycustompage.htm”/>
    </system.web>
    </configuration>

    It looks like there are less SIMs now. Will there be a new SIM master list issued?

    Thanks!

    That's kind of what I was wondering, Janee. I've been focusing on SIMS while they take a look at why my MCQ isn't working since the update but the last few SIMS I've done don't match what's on the list. I wonder if we could find out what numbers were removed so that I can adjust my list?

    Sorry for the runtime errors…a few people experienced them as we recalc'd their accounts. It was necessary to account for the fewer questions (which aren't in the new blueprint). I'll get started on a new SIM list.

    Posting because I'm interest in a sim list for FAR. Hitting MCQ starting today and from the sounds of other forum posts, I need to practice some sims before my exam on the 14th.
