I have been using NINJA MCQ for audit and just wanted to get a gauge on difficulty level. I feel like the ninja questions are way more similar to the actual exam questions, but do you find them easy? hard? middle of the road?

I think generally they are moderate to easy. However going over for audit MCQ twice I found some questions very confusing and misleading. I guess I did not answer anything really lol…

Once I have attempted every question, I tried series of “Missed last time seen” and I wanted to stab someone. Fortunately I did not… or not.

Materials: Wiley book + Ninja MCQ

    FAR - 83 (Jan 2016)
    Study time: 6 weeks
    BEC - 87 (April 2016)
    Study time: 2 weeks
    AUD - 92 (July 2016), (74 Feb 2016), (72 May 2016)
    Study time: 4 (Feb) + 2 (May) + 3 (July) = 9 weeks total
    REG - (70 April 2016)
    Study time: 3 weeks

I think they are easy as well. I don't know what to do to prep for this test. I failed previously with a 73 and have a retake in 2 weeks, and I'm working full time. I'm using Becker and ninja MCQ. I know my downfall is the Sims. I dno.

I found the questions to be similar to what you'll see on the exam. The wording used on the exam seemed a little trickier and some topics I wasn't familiar with so hopefully they were pretest. I would try and hit the review stage if possible. The one thing I liked about studying for AUD was that you can do a lot of mcq since there's barely any calculations. I would go through all the sims at least once and make sure you know basic adjusting entries.

Do the recently released questions for AUD and pay close attention to how they are asked. This gave me insight on the differences between review questions and exam

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!

I'll let you know when I sit in a couple days! I'm only using Ninja but I also did the AICPA 2015 and 2016 questions. Gleim also has a free demo test, which has 40 MCQ so it's worth giving that a try as well for some variety. Definitely do each SIM once – it can really test whether or not you've grasped the concepts. SIMs will be my downfall as well – I'm all over the place on them and they're so draining, especially after doing 90 MCQ.

i feel ninja was much easier than the actual exam. i was trending in the mid 80's, 90's then 100% on the times i received 72, 72 then 80 respectively.i don't feel ninja is very good for Audit. it did work wonders on my BEC & REG (only solved ~1000 mcq for both) whereas i solved all AUD MCQ at least once and all SIM at least twice and still ended up with 80.

@hokinizeu I feel the same way, I'm trending in the 90s and I haven't even started looking over my review notes yet. I think Ninja was way more difficult for BEC, and prepared me well. Not so sure about audit though. Does anyone have any test banks that are extremely difficult for audit?

I think its all relative to what your basis is. I have wiley cpaexcel and im averaging 10-15% higher in that bank on 30 question sets then in ninja. I had bec ninja as well during my prep and thought wiley was fairly easy, and bec was super difficult, resulting in a 71. If i had to give a difficulty rating to ninja aud, i would say medium. There are easy questions and their are tricky questions.

I got 74 first time with becker and becker final review. This time im going through becker again and have noticed I did not fully take the time to understand the concepts the first time i took audit (also didnt have time so was in rush). Hopefully with going through everything again, it is enough. please..

But i have noticed audit ninja mcq pretty similar to beckers and they are not that difficult.

@progress in the same boat. Got a 73 first time with becker. I'm going through the Becker MCQ now and scoring high, I just feel like the real thing is just way harder. I also took BEC and got a 73 but felt the exam was easier than the review. Audit is just a beast

This thread is very confusing to me. There is a huge thread of Ninja users comparing Ninja MC vs Real exam, and 98% of the test takers have scored lower on Ninja and higher on the real exam. According to a huge % of them Ninja mc questions is as hard as the exam, but here I see more than 5 saying the opposite. How come you guys never posted in that thread? I took Audit twice and my average with Ninja was 74 (800 mC questions)and then I got a 73. I reviewed all my flash cards, and did ninja gain, but this time around I did more than 800 questions, my average was 85, and my real score was 84. I had the same experience with FAR, so my experience is more in line with the other 300 students that have compared Ninja with the real exam.

@jonnybgood2321 do u have the final review as well?

idk if i should do the full final review again (lectures and mcq and some sims) or just do the mcq, all sims, and ninja mcq.

I really struggled on sims too on the real exam as well so need to focus on those during the two weeks i have planned for review

@martin,I posted before, far trending was 72 and I got 82. Reg trending was 80 and I got 86. But this time, there is no way that I will get over 90.
