    NINJA Question –

    I’m currently scoring in the 50%’s for the NINJA FAR MCQ during the assessment phase. Has anyone experienced a low score and was able to score in the 80s after a few weeks of studying? I’m planning to take the exam in August.

    Any and all tips are appreciated!

    CPAMommy, how to do you “prevent” yourself from memorizing the answers?

    i did what you suggested and my score for section 1 of the ninja MCQ jump from 50 to 70-90's.

    Onto Section 2!!

    I do memorize some of the answers, but at the same time I typically reread the explanations so that when I come to the question again I can recite the explanation in coordination with the answer. Knowing the explanation is more important than knowing the answers because it will translate to being able to interpret similar questions on the exam. I found that to be true for FAR. I am seriously hoping it is true for REG and I didn't do myself a disservice by skipping the book. We shall see in a few weeks.

    @Dan
    T–My exam is on Saturday and I just got to 96% of the adaptive learning with a trending score of 80% for one section and 100% for the other sections. I've done 40/69 SIMS. I literally did nothing but quiz yesterday and today. I wouldn't put too much emphasis in your trending score because it will never be 100% until you answer every question correctly and that could mean seeing the same question 6 or 7 times depending on how you quiz. Some people don't find that beneficial.

    @cpamommyof3, did you follow along the ninja audio with notes? I noticed that the audio for SHE is shorter than the notes. I am also wondering how go streamline a little more. I have 19 days…..mcq? Or notes or both? I've been doing wtb @ 20 mcq per session. I try to study my wrong answers and take notes…..suggestions…..

    It begins with a 75

    Tncincy,

    What are you averaging on wtb?

    @tnincy–My suggestion is to alternate–go through your notes, then quiz, go through notes on the next section, then quiz on that section, etc until you've gone through all the sections. That's what I did for FAR and that's what I'll do Wed-Fri for REG.

    You've got plenty of time to bring those scores up. You can do it! Just keep working the MCQ and SIMS and reviewing your notes. The more you read/quiz the more you absorb.

    Can someone tell me the difference between Average Score and Average Trending Score?
