    NINJA Question –

I bought the 10 Point Combo recently and noticed that the FAR and REG MCQ’s were pretty hard. The BEC ones were so easy that I started questioning:

    1. Is that BEC material from Ninja too easy, such that it creates false confidence?

    2. Or the FAR and REG materials are too hard?

    3. OR neither of the aforementioned – the BEC exam is simply easier?

    BEC - 87 | 02/28
    REG - 70 | 06/10, REMATCH | 08/30
    AUD - XX | 09/10
    FAR - XX | 12/10

The common complaint is that they are too hard, actually … plenty of threads in the search bar about it.

The Ten Point Combo must just be that darn good 🙂

I thought the NINA MCQs for BEC were a LOT tougher than Becker and anything I saw on my exam. Not sure about the other sections.

    AUD: 98
    REG: 91
    BEC: 86
    FAR: 83

startupcfo, If you think the BEC questions are too easy, you should take the exam the first day of January. I thought the NINA MCQs for BEC were a LOT tougher than Roger and WTB and anything I saw on my exam.

With them…. it was so hard. Although, some questions on my 3rd testlet were out of this world. Maybe NINJA MCQ can prepare you for that.

Let me clarify that I was only speaking about the MCQ's for BEC. The essay questions in the simulated written content is tough.

For MCQ's I'm averaging 71, trending at 80, and thats without reading any ninja notes or watching any blitz videos.

    BEC - 87 | 02/28
    REG - 70 | 06/10, REMATCH | 08/30
    AUD - XX | 09/10
    FAR - XX | 12/10

I'm confused a little by your feeling that they're too easy when your avg score is 71 – which takes into account all MCQs since you started, whereas Trending takes more recent sessions into account.

Edit – My comments are only trying to be helpful and constructive to helping you pass…I hope they are received as such.

LOL at averaging 71 and thinking the questions too easy.

If you have that much chutzpah/boldness why bother with scoring on the CPA exam. The questions were too easy, so obviously you passed.

Why bother testing at all. The questions were too easy so obviously you're a CPA.

I read this post, started a response and stopped and now i can't resist. I am using ninja mcq for bec right now and my scores are decent but progress is slow. every time i answer a question i read everything that comes up with the response and think that question was just one way to quiz me on everything presented here and 5 more possible questions come to mind. This is a volume of info that will be tested with questions of same, harder, and perhaps less difficulty on the exam. I do not kid myself for a moment that one question encapsulates all that info or that grasping all of this info enough to pass the actual exam is easy. Getting one question right in ninja is just that – one ninja question right. What remains is am i ready to answer a different question on this same topic on the exam. You are preparing for the exam – not a session of ninja mcq's. These are just a tool in the box to prepare you.

I agree with the others. It you're so smart, take the test tomorrow then.

And when you're done with that, go run a marathon and replace the shingles on your roof, since it's all so easy.

    BEC - 83

Out of curiosity, how many of the mcq have you done and in how many subjects covered by BEC? Because you say you just recently purchased the ten point combo and have looked at MCQ in three exam categories, but not looked at the review material. Is it possible you're deliberately choosing the MCQ in areas where you already have some comfort level to gain confidence that the exam isn't impossible? I think it's a great strategy but would wait until I'd seen all the mcq for BEC before hypothesizing on their difficulty.

OP please don't underestimate BEC or any other part of the CPA exam. BEC was the hardest for me. I used Becker and it was the only exam that ramped up the difficulty way above and beyond what was in Becker. For AUD I actually read the standards. For far I actually broke out my old intermediate accounting book for extra help. I actually had q about 5 questions from FAR on my BEC exam. It's a catch all so use Ninja and whatever else you can get your hands on. You could get all calculations or you may get all questions over COSO and COBIT. Good luck!

I planned to study for bec for 4 weeks using ninja mcq. Now taking me up to 6weeks because it is Not easy at all! It takes me a long time to read the responses come up on each question. I have used a different cpa review materials and ninja is a lot tougher.

    BEC: 81 x3
    FAR: 68 retake 10/1

Hey, moniker. haven't really studied, been getting crushed at work with a series A

going to try to push hard on these last 2 weeks and see if I can pull out a miracle on the last day of the testing window

I wouldn't call these BEC questions “easy” because if they were “easy” i'd be trending at 85-90, but I still insist these questions are significantly easier than what I saw in FAR and REG.

For those of you that passed, how many hours did you sink into this?

    BEC - 87 | 02/28
    REG - 70 | 06/10, REMATCH | 08/30
    AUD - XX | 09/10
    FAR - XX | 12/10

I thought with my degree in Economics, experience in banking and years of practice in public accounting, it would be easy. I failed it twice.
