NINJA Question –

I know this question has probably been asked a zillion times by now. But I thought just a liiiiiitttlle more perspective on the audio lectures for FAR would be worth asking for 🙂

Currently, when I’m driving or at work, I listen to the Roger video lectures. While they have helped me refresh my memory on certain areas (discounting notes, leases, etc.), I’m wondering if Ninja Audio is worth it for the stuff that I may not have already covered in my notes or in the Roger Lectures/Books.

I’m defo getting the MCQs and will start hitting them this week, but would Ninja Audio be worth it if I would only actively listen to it while driving and at the gym and passively listening to it on and off while I’m at work.

Any insight would be appreciated (Because I’m now off the “Thanks in advance” bandwagon, Thanks Jeff :))

Also curious…. I use Becker and I want to do everything I possibly can to pass FAR on the first try!! Thinking about buying the SNIPER package..

Same question. I just spent money on Surgent which I like so far as well as all the money to register for the test and order transcripts. I’m bleeding money (I know you all relate). I’m willing to spend a little more if it will be the difference between pass and fail but I want to make sure it’s worth it. Has anyone out there used Surgent plus Ninja?

Maybe I'm not the best person to answer since I've failed far 3 times (all with score of 73) but I bought the audio and regretted it. if you have Becker audio then you don't need anything else. To me the info on the audio was very superficial and not helpful with mcq and def not sims. Please don't hate me Jeff.

Lots of A71ers report it helped them but you have to be an audio learner (I'm not – I tried it and it confirmed I'm not).

I like the audio. I pretty much only use it in the car. I feel like it helps refresh topics that I may not have really covered recently. Honestly, I'm a big fan of the Ninja products all around and pretty much use them exclusively. I originally purchased Wiley but it doesn't work for me as well as Ninja.

The audio won't be for everyone.

For starters, some people aren't auditory learners and can't concentrate.

The audio isn't comprehensive and detailed…if it were, it would be 20 hours of FAR and dive in on pensions and bond amortization tables .. who wants to listen to that?

My goal with the audio was to give people a study resource that they could use when they couldn't otherwise study (at the gym, in the car), which would net them a few extra point on exam day.

I also wanted it to be short enough that you can listen to it over and over. It doesn't cover every point, but the points it does make – stick.

Some other companies have an “audio” that is simply the audio rip from a visual lecture – it's not designed for auditory learning – which isn't helpful in my opinion.

I'm a huge fan of audio books and I know how hard it is to comprehend material when listening only, which is why I repeat things a lot.
