NINJA Question –
Okay, so after trying out FAR with the Ninja Framework I’ve come to realize that I am not Nailing the Concepts down from the Ninja Book. I am getting lost with the sheer amount of information and writing loads of notes down, like should I just read and not write? I guess with the days counting down until my test in 3 days I realize because I can’t understand from reading the materials it is taking a huge toll on me when I am working on the MCQs. I mean yea, of course, I am going to get some wrong but I am scoring in the 20%-30% on my MCQs sets and not forget the time it takes for me personally to figure out “why Each answer is wrong and why the correct answer is correct.”
My mistakes:
1. Never was a book learner, I really think someone explaining it with visuals would really help me.
2. I reset my Ninja MCQs data halfway thinking a fresh start would help me (my fault for not knowing how to use the program) in the end I wasted more time, I thought I’d try to get to the assessment phase with randoms MCQs, should have just done it section by section to keep things organized.
3. Not sure if the rewriting Ninja Notes helped but that could be because I am not utilizing it enough
4. Everything I wrote down was scattered, I was not organized, my biggest mistake is me not even finding the time to review my notes! Whats the point of writing something down if you are not even going to utilize it right?!What I plan to do:
1. Instead, use the Ninja PLUS videos since I am finding it more engaging and easier for me than reading
2. Definitely do NINJA MCQs section by section this time and no resets anymore, maybe utilize the book and videos as a last resort for any areas I am not getting down
3. Use the Ninja Notes specifically on the section I am on and rewriting section by section only until I master it and continue on to the next section ( I remember I was studying BEC and I did the ninja notes and ninja MCQ on the same section and it clicked! like it was like a fresh recap of what I was learning that day as if the information was drilled into my head)Please someone with experience who passed with Ninja Only give me some advice on what you think it is that I can do to improve my studies. I really need feedback, sometimes you just need other people perspectives on things because there might be something that I am not seeing. If I had to be completely honest, I probably gave it 60% effort in trying my best. I feel like I can pass but maybe need to sacrifice more in my life and part of it has to do with me figuring out what works for me and trust me I hear it a lot, “you got to find what it is that works for you.”
What I really want to know what is your opinion of my plan? and I am okay with criticism because I am looking to improve myself and become a CPA.
