NINJA Question –

I’m using Becker materials to review topics for my fourth go-round with audit.

Using NINJA MCQ, the questions all appear to be straight forward. I’m consistently trending around 70%. When I move over to Wiley questions though, scores are much lower. The Wiley questions don’t seem to be misleading or trick questions, so I’m not sure what the difference is.

Anyone have any experiences to share? My plan from here is to focus on my weak areas using NINJA MCQ. NINJA gave me the 11 point boost I needed to get through REG.

I used Becker for FAR, REG and BEC. Passed all 3 sections with Becker.

AUD was a different story. After I failed AUD the first time, I switched to Wiley CPAExcel Study Guide and passed the exam. I liked the Wiley questions and study guide material better. It was just organized better and explained better.

Well I took a look at two sections of the NINJA MCQ after passing using Wiley Test bank. I think it was Regulation and BEC.

Take-away:

1. NINJA has more questions, but some of them focused too much on questions that you would be extremely lucky to get even 1 question on the test.

2. There is overlap questions that each product has.

3. Each product also covers some holes left from each other.

I felt that NINJA questions were harder, but then again I had done all the wiley test bank questions several times prior to checking out NINJA questions.

I like NINJA MCQ on how they pattern the questions to the aicpa exam content. I used that strategy to AUD and I passed it on my first try. That way, I know what exam content should I focus on my final grind.

Are there any instructions on how to use the Ninja MCQs?

I don't see much explanation as to how the system works.

Specifically, what is the difference between “MCQ” sessions and “Custom + Sims” sessions and when should each be used.

How is the assessment, adaptive learning and review areas used?

I miss being able to bookmark questions with Ninja. I also wish the categories more closely resembled those in Wiley and Becker for those of us using multiple sources.
