    Theoretically speaking if you just had Ninja Notes and Wiley or Becker MCQ’s could you pass FAR? They don’t seem to be in depth enough to teach you everything.

    I don't think Ninja notes cover nearly enough to use by itself. It does make you wonder because when you rewrite the notes, it's suggested to write ninja notes if you don't write your own.

    People have done it and passed (according to a few emails anyway) but not a best practice.

    You should have a book too.

    I am retaking AUD and FAR in the next window. Having a grasp of the material, I want to use the NINJA Notes and WTB and study as if it was the first attempt. I plan to read/rewrite the notes multiple times and work the problems/add notes for unclear parts. Do you think this would be a good strategy?

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated πŸ™‚

    I would do *exactly* what you did for your first attempts on FAR and AUD PLUS add the ninja materials. People make the mistake of retaking an exam and not doing what they did to earn that first 72 or 73 or whatever it is PLUS more studying or more supplements.

    FAR-81, REG-76 and BEC-88: Wiley Test Bank + Ninja Notes only.

    That said, I always got A's in Accounting Classes and really understood the material. REG was a miracle because I'm not a big fan of tax and never took business law. BEC, I love econ, my undergrad is in finance, so I had a pretty solid broad BEC-like foundation.

    So yes, its possible. I used the Ninja notes to research foggy topics on Google.

    Ninja + Wiley Test Bank: [FAR - 81] [REG - 76] [BEC - 88] [AUD - 73](doh!)

    Becker Videos: [AUD - 82]

    Thanks @ acamp that's encouraging!

    I need a new study process: rereading the Becker material/notes was not getting me anywhere – my scores just got worse and I felt like I was not gaining anything new for the retake.

    @acamp,

    Did you use a Wiley book too or just the test bank. I am really all for narrowing down the amount of materials needed to pass. I have Yeager, cpaexcel ( started out with but too tedious), Wiley tb and ninja notes and audio. I failed far miserably and I will not go down the constant fail road. so I am regrouping from the top and I am debating whether to go with the book and the notes or go ahead and use the yeager video again…..stuck I am.
