Hi, I’m studying for FAR using Becker text and Ninja notes. Is it fine to study the differences between IFRS and GAAP using Ninja notes after finishing all chapters in Becker? I find that studying them along with each chapter is distracted for me and it seems like I get lost 🙁

Yes, I agree with you. You can really get lost with so many differences between IFRS & GAAP in many areas. Same thing happened to me during my prep with FAR & AUD during the first time.

When I started my preparation for my retake for AUD next month, I decided to compile their differences using 3-column Excel worksheet. I am only halfway through A2 at this point and I have already around 28 differences listed.

Making your own difference sheet sounds good. Probably I'll do the same using Ninja notes as reference. Good luck with your exam!
