[Needs Advice]

Hey all,

I have a question regarding NINJA MCQ. I know that in order to get to the review phase you need to have answered every question correctly at least once. How does one go about this exactly?

Example 1: Go to custom and select exams that only contained new questions at random or by section. Then once all have been answered at least once go back to custom and create exams only containing the missed questions until all are answered correctly at least once. Then do random tests.

Example 2: Just do random tests until all are both answered and all answered correctly at least once?

Example 3: Something else

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe you should focus more on learning than on finishing the phases in Ninja MCQ. I have never finished the adaptive learning phase, around 75% complete, but because I was more focus on learning, I was able to pass my exams. You should do MCQs until you feel comfortable with whatever they throw at you during exam day, and you can benchmark yourself by looking at the average total score. Trending score does not really tell much.

@OP, what got me to review was to do custom sessions and select “new question” for each session, unless it's your first time for a study unit (then all questions will obviously be fine). I use the progress report after each section to track where I am at. There is a bubble for detailed report, and I knock everything out until the “Questions Not seen” column is at 0. After this phase, I go back into custom and do all of the “missed last time seen” questions until “Questions Not Answered Correctly” column on my progress report is at 0 (This phase gets you to review phase).

For my last run w/ BEC, I tried to knock out all of the smaller sub-units first, and I would do no more than a 20 question session for the larger sub-units.

For me, I ALMOST always do new questions until I hit adaptive phase. Once that's done, I still continue to do NEW questions. However, when I know there's a certain problem area, I would go back and do trouble questions, maybe for 1 or 2 sets. You don't want to keep doing questions you've seen before, or it WILL skew your performance.

The best way to know your progress is when you do receive a low score, go back to that session and mark those wrong areas. When you start to see a pattern or a certain area that you need to review, go and review that area before you move on. When you're done with ALL that, make sure you don't settle for a trending below 85. And try to raise the average as well.
