NINJA Question –

Who’s taking FAR this week? How did the last days of cramming go and what’s your strategy for the remainder of time before the exam? How do you feel about the whole thing?

I just arrived in the U.S. and spent the 8 hour flight studying from minute one. I feel done now though, could take it tomorrow. I know I will make it, it’s more a question about scoring 80 or 90 🙂 Now having buffalo wings for the first time of my life and feeling good about myself for being such a study nerd. I hope the feeling lasts. My plan now is to spend a full day reviewing tomorrow and then relax all Wednesday, and go in on Thursday at 1 and KILL THAT EXAM.

I used Roger and think it is a good system. I think my other scores reflect that. I always feel I am unlucky with some of the stuff I get tested on though.

I always grab a pair of ear plugs from the prometric staff before I sit at the computer. They also have over the ear head phones to drown out the sound if you prefer that.

silverdice7, sounds like a tough one. My worst case scenario is an exam with recurring questions in the areas of hedge and other derivative accounting, non-monetary exchanges, governmental accounting theory or complex sale-and-lease back calculations. These are my weak areas and it would just suck if there was an concentration on any of these.

jstay: actually, I was planning just to review my notes for a few hours, and then leave it. But I have plenty of time so decided to also do 120 NINJA MCQs that I previously failed on (doing that now and I pass about 75% of them, being the second time I see them, so I think that's a pretty good indicator that I learned from my previous fails).

I think I will go on for a total of 4 hours today, then going for a long session at the gym and after that probably going out to a mall to make some import purchases to bring back to Europe :p Going to bed around 12 and up tomorrow around 9.
