Do you just do sets of custom questions when you first start, and then do adaptive MCQ when you get to to the “adaptive learning” phase?

new questions only until i get through about 800 or so.

I keep a stack of index cards and I write down any concept that I miss or anything else I find relevant on the screen. This means when I first start I am writing a lot, but today (day before exam), I am writing almost nothing and going through them pretty quickly as a review.

On the topic of memorizing questions: sure this is going to happen but I think it is irrelevant as long as you understand the underlying logic as to why the correct answer is correct and the wrong answers are wrong.
