NINJA Question –

So I have a week left before I take my audit exam (for the 3rd time). I have both Ninja MCQ and Becker (although I have almost memorized becker since I used it for the last two times). I don’t know which MCQs I should hit harder at this point. From experience, how did the Ninja MCQs stack up against the test questions? Were they pretty similar in concept or content? How about simulations?

I used Ninja MCQ for both FAR and AUD. The FAR MCQ seemed comparable to the exam but for AUD it seemed waaaaaaaaaaay off. My AUD exam had a lot more wordier questions all with answers that were long and really close in being correct which wasn't quite what I had been used to seeing in Ninja. Sims for both were comparable to the exam. Every test is different so it's quite possible I got the anomaly out of all the tests. Either you choose, just make sure you understand why your answer is correct and why the others are wrong. Good luck!

I think Ninja is much more comparable to the actual exam. Becker over-complicates questions and sims (which I understand, if you can correctly answer those convoluted questions you'll do well on the exam) but Ninja made me feel more prepared. I have used Ninja for FAR (I'm waiting on the score for this one) and AUD. For AUD, I saw 3-5 Ninja questions verbatim on my exam. Ninja sims also seem closer to the exam, in my opinion. However, for FAR I noticed a lot of overlap in Becker and Ninja.

Phoenix- how about for BEC? i bought ninja last night–feel like im screwed when going through becker.

@jstay- I used Becker for BEC so I can't say what the comparison of Ninja vs exam is on that one. BEC is just tough (or at least it was for me) because the topics are so varied and there's so little continuity between areas. It's really a grab bag. Becker worked well for me with BEC though even though I was using materials from 2012 and took it January 2014. I'd say Ninja will work well too though. If I had known about Ninja when I started taking these exams, I would've used Ninja for every exam.
