Have Becker. Ninja MCQs?

    NINJA Question –

Failed Aud with a 64 and scheduled my retake for 1/14. I’m counting on this being enough time I hope. I’ve been reading my Becker book, while simultaneously taking notes and then completing Beckers MCQ’s. I also have access to WileyCPA, so I’ve been browsing those notes and trying their MCQ’s.

Would Ninja MCQ be overkill? A bit overwhelmed by reading two sources of info (BECKER AND WILEYCPA). With Beckers progress tests I can potentially answer 1,592 MCQs. AUD Ninja MCQ’s offer 1,596.

Redundant? I’m sure if I buy it I’ll see duplicates….not sure

    Thanks

I definitely recommend Ninja MCQ…it definitely put me over the top in FAR and REG to pass, and those were monster tests. If it wasn't for that damn program, I would still probably be taking these tests!

    FAR - 81
    REG - 74, 87
    AUD - 88
    BEC - 88

    Finally.

Figured, thanks. I'm just curious if i'd be seeing all the same questions in Ninja that are in Becker. Jeff?

I don't think I've ever had someone complain that there was too much overlap…there will be some, but the biggest difference is in the software features and technology.

    It's $47…no brainer 🙂

Jeff, I am looking to retake Reg soon, possibly before busy season starts. I failed miserably last time because I just couldn't focus watching the Becker videos. I'm going to go through the Becker book again but I also would like to supplement Ninja materials with it. I will be getting the MCQ, what would be the other product you recommend the most? Notes? Audio?

    BEC - 81
    AUD - 66
    REG - 44 (what? ... Help)

I use Becker for lectures and MCQ homework and supplement Ninja MCQ. There may be some overlap but there are questions that Ninja have that becker does not provide. I think of it as another way to help my brain stick with the material. My theory for taking each section of the CPA is to live and breathe the material until test day. Like Peter Olinto says, you only need to know this stuff for 3 or 4 hours on test day. Besides, it's only 47 bucks for the NINJA MCQ.

    REG - 82
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 76
    AUD - 8/27/16

What i found, for reg at least, and it might be all in my head but Beckers question seems to be a little more difficult, while ninja seems to be alot more about finite detail. I went through hundreds of questions and i cant say that i have seen more then a hand full of questions that were in both softwares.

    FAR-76 First attempt.
    AUD-79 First attempt.
    REG-79 First attempt.
    BEC-79 First attempt.

    Done!

    @Jeff
There may be a little overlap, but your MCQ pushed me into passing.

At Prometric before my test, I told someone I used Becker and Ninja. They asked why I used something that cost $40 versus my expensive software that cost thousands. I told them it was about the software, and that I could see the results of Ninja MCQ vs. actual exam scores. I've probably visited that thread a combined 300 times when studying for BEC, REG, and AUD. I want to know that I've prepared like others.

    FAR 72, 89
    BEC 80
    REG 90
    AUD 79

I have supplemented Becker with the Ninja MCQs for Audit & FAR (I use it as my final two week review). I did think there was quite a bit of overlap, however, there were definitely enough new questions in the Ninja MCQ to make it worthwhile. Also, I love how the Ninja MCQs adapt to test you more on your weak areas, whereas the Becker progress tests are just, okay, here are 5 questions from F1, and 5 questions from F2; they are not even random.

I passed both FAR & Audit the first time and I definitely attribute most of that to doing my review with the Ninja MCQs.

    FAR-83
    AUD-90
    BEC-83
    REG-80

    I'M DONE!!

Hey, so I noticed a lot of users are saying Ninja for the last 2 weeks. I am approaching the review phase in 2 weeks as well. Got 4 more chapters to go for FAR (becker). So for my review week should I just pound out Ninja MCQ or should I redo Becker's MCQ? Or mixed both? Tbh, I have only done 5 or so SIMS I can't seem to work those out because they are so long and I generally can't sit down 2 hours and stare at them like I do for the MCQ. Does Ninja include SIMS?

    BEC- PASS
