NINJA Question –
Starting to study for FAR. Using Roger CPA. Going to try to do it in 6 weeks.
This is the plan as I understand it: please feel free to comment, or offer advice.
N – Nail the videos. Roger has 32 hours of videos.
Time element – If I take 25 hours per week I should be done with these in about 1 1/2 weeks.
I- Intense Note – I can either take notes from the videos as I watch a second time, or take notes directly from the Roger Study book. These can be taken alone or inside the NINJA notes for FAR.
Time element: 1-1/2 weeks, maybe a tad longer?
N- Non-Stop MCQs- this is where I go through so many MCQs till I get sick of them.
Time element- not really sure
J- Just Re-Write it. Where I completely rewrite my notes by hand, to help it sink further into my memory
A – All comes together. This is where I study notes, take MCQ test-lets of 20 questions until I reach 70% consistently; determine my weak areas and concentrate on those, and study my notes every available waking minute I can spare.
Time element: I figure no more than two weeks on this part. Prior posts seem to indicate that if you stretch this part out any longer that you will forget content.
Really want to get get this done in 6 weeks because I want to take BEC before July 4. I have been told that BEC is one of the easier ones and can be done in 5 weeks.
Is there anything I have forgotten? Don’t want to get halfway through and discover I have left something out!
Thanks.
Marc
FAR- Late May 2014
BEC- Before July 4 2014
REG- Late August, 2014
AUD- Early October 2014
