NINJA Question –

Any opinions on choosing between two for the FAR section?

I don't know much about CPAExcel (I think it's the new Wiley?), but at least get the Ninja test bank for FAR. That, the notes and the flashcards are what got me through on my second attempt.

I used CPAExcel with Ninja Notes and Ninja MCQ to supplement. CPA Excel is good for covering the topics, but it wasn't until I added the Ninja products that I really got my ducks in a row and started passing the exams on the first go around.

@tidus808 – So, you recommend using the CPA Excel study material (textbook and/or videos) to go through all material and then use the NINJA products to do the rest of the preparation work?

That is what I did and I was able to pass my last three tests (REG Retake, BEC, and FAR). Be prepared to spend a lot of time with them though. 🙂

@tidus….you used both for FAR? Your score is really great.

@caddygirl Yeah I used both. I ended up with 190-200 hours worth of studying for FAR and I felt that they prepared me well for it. I took FAR last and came out feeling the best from it. I went through all the sims on Ninja and CPA Excel and I feel like they really helped. If you put in the time with them, I am confident that they will help you get through the exam.
