    NINJA Question –

So I’m using Ninja MCQ for my second time around with FAR. I am currently trending at 70% and I take the exam on 4/12. The first time I took FAR I only used Becker and I was probably trending between 50-60% and I got a 74 on the exam. So for now it looks like I’ve improved.

Since I take FAR again in 8 days, when should I take the first practice exam? or should I have already done it? should I take the second one also? I think my trending score is only a 70 due to my earlier MCQ sessions where I was just flying through trying to get back in the habit of doing questions so I had a few sessions where I only got 50% of the questions right. After those few sessions, I went back through Ninja notes and I rarely get below 80% each time I do a set of MCQ.

I dont do practice exams, i like the instant feedback on my answers and to be honest i have the timing down for the exam so i am not sure if there is a real need to do the practice exams if you have that.

I only do practice exams with ninja to get my pace/timing down for the actual test so I can better strategize.

I like knowing if I got a question right or wrong immediately as well.

One thing I like about doing practice exams (and this could be just me) is that I don't know the answer immediately which is similar to the test. What I mean by this is that during the actual test, I tend to double-think/question myself and go back and look at questions I may've already answered correctly. Doing 1 or 2 practice test encourages me to not second-guess myself.

So in general, practice test are useful for test taking strategies. That's just my opinion.

    Good luck.

If you didn't have time crunch issues on your first FAR attempt, a practice test isn't worth your time. If you did have problems alloting enough time for Sims on your first attempt, a practice exam may help you get a feel for how fast you need to work.
