Any suggestions for how to best utilize the FAR book?

I would read the book, work through the examples and application questions all the way through (for as much has been released, anyway) and then work the questions in NINJA MCQ.

Basically – treat the NINJA Book like it's a video course – except instead of an instructor reading the the book to you – you're reading it yourself.

Hi Jeff,

I am about to start my journey in studying for FAR for the third time (scored 71, 71 & 70) and need to know if you have any suggestions on what I can do to get over the hump. In December, when I made a 71 on both FAR and REG, it finally dawned on me the significance of the name of this site. Actually, I have lost my AUD & BEC because I was not able to move past the FAR & REG. I started with Becker in 2012 (passed AUD & BEC), but wasn't successful with the latter two, so I moved to Yeager at end of 2013 with the hopes of getting a 75 or above. Nevertheless, I have stumped with low 70's. How can I get those extra 5 points without shelling out a lot more money. I noticed that there are an array of NINJA products, but not sure which one is the best bang for my buck and can help me get those 5 extra points. Also, I would like to sit for FAR before 2015, so I'm going to shoot for end of November, if available. Is 6 weeks enough time to study for FAR? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. (By the way, awesome site!!!) 🙂

LAW - 73, 73, 73
TAX- 71, 72, 67*
FAR- 66, 63, 57*
(*on 3rd try, just tried to pass AUD & LAW while getting above 50 on these;didn't work)

2012-Present:
AUD - 73, 76 (expired 01/31/14), 70 (UGH)!, 86 (4/4/15 - praise God)!!
BEC- 55, 69, 69, 78 (expired 10/31/14), 5/26/15...76!!!! AND I'M FINALLY DONE!!!
FAR- 71, 71, 70, sat 11/24/14 - 75 PASSED!
REG- 65, 67, 71, 66, sat 10/4/14; 75 PASSED!
