    NINJA Question –

I have FAR in three weeks, if I pass, I am done. I am worried about the difficulty of Ninja vs the actual. Currently I am doing all new questions until I reach the end of them, then I am going to start doing the adaptive learning. I am around 62% on trending and average exactly half way thru all of the questions. From looking at the trending vs actual thread, it looks like if there is one section where actual scores are significantly higher than trending it is FAR.

I am wondering how it will be for me compared to my previous tests. On REG, I passed the first time and the MCQ in the actual test were a breeze compared to Ninja for the most part. I passed Audit on the third time, I thought the actual was harder than Ninja, I didn’t even use Ninja for my third try. I also passed BEC my first try, I thought the actual was slightly easier than Ninja (I wish I got a score report to know for sure that I blew the WC).

What was everyone else’s experience with FAR?
    Thanks

Very similar, but I would say the actual exam material was a little less straight forward. Also I remember unrestricted/restricted/temporary assets to be big on Ninja, yet like no questions on my exam.

    BEC: 80
    REG: 75
    FAR: __, ?/2016

@mitch — I thought the questions on Ninja were comparable to the questions on FAR. I did 2800 questions on Ninja in a three week period and averaged an 80%. Aside from doing the Ninja MC during the last three weeks of studying, I also reviewed all possible journal entries from Becker.

I think FAR is similar difficulty. If you had Gleim, you would blow the exam questions away. SO REG NINJA is harder than exam, really?

    BEC 80 (10/23/15)
    FAR 72 (4/2/15); 83 (7/11/16)
    REG 52 (4/28/15)
    AUD (9/9/16)

@hasy, that is true I did use some Gleim with REG, but I didn't do any b-law questions in it. (it was required for my tax class in my MBA program), but I used it only for it. It was absolutely brutal and the questions were so complex that it was just destroying my confidence, but I went to Ninja for exam prep and it was much closer to the REG test, and I would say that Ninja was harder than what I saw that day. I flew through that exam, I couldn't tell the difference from testlet difficulty, but I felt like I was doing really good. I finished it in an hour and a half (this was the quarter before DRS). I was surprised that I “only” made an 81, but it was at least 75, so I didn't care one bit. Obviously I got some stuff wrong, I think the sims hurt me because there were some that I wasn't sure about.

Now on audit, I also had Gleim for my audit class in my MBA program. I used Ninja for prep for the first two tries, went back to Gleim, partly because Ninja had expired, and I passed. However while I was studying for my third audit retake, I was also watching FAR lectures for the first time and they definitely helped a lot, so it is unfair to say Ninja didn't prepare me since I used Gleim in different circumstances.

And by the real test being easier, they have seemed to be more straight forward and not as wordy, although the real exam can have some wordy questions.

Honestly agree with you big time @Mitch. Questions on actual exam were quite straight forward compared to NINJA. NINJA for example, will have question after question on same topic drilling every angle possible where exam will pull out one of those question to hit you on the head with. I couldn’t tell if my test got harder or not felt like the 1st testlet was actually a SOB but then I managed to calm down. Overall, I have no clue though how I did though but I am praying that 55 hours of NINJA, reading the notes 3 times, writing them once and all the other notes I took during the process was enough. I studied my a** off knowing this is my last exam and I sure as hell hope it is that way.
