NINJA Question –

Just found out I didn’t pass REG again. I’m also waiting to find out if I passed BEC.

So far I’ve only passed AUD, and that will expire at the end of August. 🙁 I’m really crossing my fingers on BEC, this way I’ll only have to conquer REG and FAR in 3Q and hopefully have all 4 passed before I lose AUD!

Anyway, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with study materials and I really could use some advice. For REG I have:

– Wiley book

– Wiley TB (yes, the new updated cra**y version… that doesn’t even have a calculator!!! rant)

– NINJA Notes

– NINJA Audio

– NINJA MCQ (just bought today!)

Can anyone please recommend how best to study? I’ve never done well using the book, and I do a majority of learning from the NINJA notes and repeat MCQ.

I guess I’m overwhelmed that I now will have TWO online testbanks. Should I alternate between the two?

My plan was to listen to NINJA audio, read the chapter (s) in the book, then work some MCQ in book and in the testbank. Rinse, repeat.

Thoughts?

I know that each one of us has different learning styles. For me, I used only GLEIM as my studying material. I think the problem is that you try too many materials that will provide different learning styles. It would be good if you have plenty of time to go through them all; however, since you need to pass other sections before your AUD expired, focus only on one of the reviewed package. You said to yourself that you overwhelmed by the materials, simple solution is just to cut it down to one and focus on that.

I would also suggest on working on understand and memorize the materials instead of working on the MCQs. It worked for me. When time is short, focus on reviewed notes, go over key points in each unit, and view the MCQs that you answered wrong. Good luck!

It would probably be good to get a fresh perspective on it by using the Ninja MCQ– from what I understand, it can be used as a review course, since it is adaptive to your strong and weak areas. Just go through it from the start and follow its lead.

You can use your book to look things up if needed, and of course listen to Ninja Audio as much as possible, and read and re-write Ninja Notes as well also.

This is what I plan on doing if I find out on Friday that I have to retake FAR.

That's odd. The updated Wiley TB version I use has a calculator.

When I use it, it has a calculator for the SIMs but not the MCQs.
