    NINJA Question –

    Hi there,
Has anyone used NINJA MCQ and SIMS to prepare them for FAR and did they feel well prepared?
I’m studying for my FAR retake and I’m hoping it will be my last.

    thanks
    Rachel

I think the ninja MCQ helps, but the ninja sims do not help. Granted, I only picked out a handful of sims to do but they were all very simplified, not at all like actual sims.

    Thanks XYZ.

I used BECKER for REG and thought the Becker SIMS were a cake walk compared to the actual exam SIMS.
    UGH.

I went through all of the NINJA SIMS and I thought they helped. Some of them were good review of the correct journal entries, which is a good refresher. No document review sims, though. A lot of them have the old codification search, which I just skipped. Doing the MCQ now and they are good. Many of them are the exact same questions as Wiley, but some are new. I really like the explanations on NINJA as they quote the codification, which helps.

    Thanks James

I dont know if any course can prepare you for the live SIMS. I worked my tail off for REG and felt good but the SIMS are just freaky with all the tabs. Not sure about everyone else but I live in Houston, TX and I get a fat marker and a white board which makes it really difficult to organize my thoughts. I wish they would go back to paper.
