NINJA Question –

Who used CPA NINJA exclusively for FAR and was successful? I have CPA Excel available but I’m not in love with anything about it. I already know I cannot follow the study plan because I will forget everything. I am planning on a deep dive into MCQs and SIMs no matter which software I use but I’m wondering if the NINJA way using only NINJA materials will lead to success. Thoughts?

I passed FAR with only using ninja MCQ. I'm a firm believer that if you have a good base knowledge of the concepts, that MCQ repetition will prepare you for the exam.

Because I already had an understanding of financial accounting, I saw no need to watch videos or read about stuff I already knew.

Ninja Notes and MCQ worked for me on FAR. But like Biff said, having a good knowledge base is probably the only way you can get away with this approach. I had several years of Corporate Accounting experience prior to sitting for the exam, and it helped out tremendously.

Some people learn doing mcqs only but I had to read the book first before going to the mcq. Knowing the concepts before hitting hard the mcqs really helped me. I had a PDF version of the Wiley CPAExcel book for reference when I wanted to look at something when I felt I needed a different perspective since english is my second language but I felt that the Ninja materials were enough.
