    NINJA Question –

Going to the website now and I cant find a way to purchase jut the MCQ alone. I am being redirected to a page and it will only allow me to purchase larger packages like Scout, Sniper, and Assault.

Is something wrong with the website?

Hi Mike – We recently simplified our CPA Review product lines and packaged them into three “products,” and further discounted the Sniper (Medium) and Assault (Large) packages.

We no longer sell anything stand alone – just in these 3 packages.

    Scout:
NINJA Notes (Free Updates Until You Pass)
NINJA MCQ (3 Mo like before)
NINJA Flashcards (3 Mo like before)

    Sniper
Same Materials as Scout, but with Double the Access

NINJA Notes (Free Updates Until You Pass)
    NINJA MCQ (6 Mo Access)
    NINJA Flashcards (6 Mo Access)

    plus

NINJA Audio (Free Updates Until You Pass)
NINJA Book (Free Updates Until You Pass)
    NINJA PLUS (6 Mo Access)

Sniper is basically the old price of the Audio and Book, but we added the Notes, MCQ, Flashcards, and NINJA PLUS and tacked on a free renewal to the MCQ/PLUS.

In essence, you can now get a full CPA Review Course for $197, as the Sniper package has everything you need for a self-study CPA Review Course.

    Assault
Same Materials as Sniper, but with Double the Access

NINJA Notes (Free Updates Until You Pass)
    NINJA MCQ (12 Mo Access)
    NINJA Flashcards (12 Mo Access)
NINJA Audio (Free Updates Until You Pass)
NINJA Book (Free Updates Until You Pass)
    NINJA PLUS (12 Mo Access)

    plus

    NINJA BLITZ (12 Mo Access)
NINJA MCQ Audio (Free Updates Until You Pass)

(Current Ten Point Combo members get grandfathered in – just email support if you need it).

Assault has 4x the MCQ/PLUS access as the previous Ten Point Combo (3 Mo vs 12 Mo), but with no price increase.

Why the Change: This change arose out of a need to simplify our product line.

Over the years, we've added more and more products to our offerings (NINJA PLUS, NINJA Book, NINJA MCQ Audio) and it was overkill – people didn't know “what” they needed to pass the CPA Exam.

We ran several surveys and asked customers what they wanted in a package, how much it should cost, etc and that weighed heavily on our decision.

Some people will love it … some people will hate it and might call me names, but it's much-needed change that simplifies everything and is actually an overall price decrease.

I just purchased Ninja Notes for Audit about a week ago and planned on buying the MCQ today. Am I screwed now and have to buy the Ninja Notes again if I want the MCQ?

Good question – In this situation – If you buy the Scout package (Notes/Flashcards/MCQ) and already have the notes, for instance, email support and we'll send you the book, audio, plus – whatever you choose to avoid the duplicate purchase.

Jeff – On the web page for the comparison it appears that the math for the assault column's old price doesn't add up correctly and that it states 3 months access for the flash cards. Is the assault supposed to be 3 months or a year of flash cards?

Should be 1 year of flashcards – 1 year for everything that has an access clock … free update for everything else.

Ok thank you Jeff. Sent you an email. Had a rough morning dealing with this but seems like it will turn out a good deal in the end

So if I had the 10 Point Combo for FAR and just needed to renew access to the MCQ, assuming Thursday is full of bad news, do I have to buy the entire Sniper package?

    FAR: 66, 75
    AUD: 67, 69, 70, 74, 74
    REG: 71, 79
    BEC: 73

Hey T-Bone – in your case, we would renew your FAR access completely free.

@Jeff, I use Wiley CPAexcel and will be finishing it up tomorrow for BEC. I was originally planning on purchasing only Ninja MCQ and was going to purchase it this Friday to begin final review until my exam on the 8th of September. What package would you suggest I purchase? I really only need the MCQs for BEC so I don't want to get more than I have to.

Hi Summer – if your BEC study feels more like your FAR experience vs your AUD experience, then go with Scout. If it feels more like AUD, then For $70 more, you get the book, audio, ninja plus, and double the access.

I didn't get to review AUD at all which probably explains my score lol. My first exam ever was FAR and I used only Wiley and scored 67. My 82 is using Ninja MCQ exclusively for four weeks. Since I have three weeks of full-time review (not working) then would you suggest just Scout?

If you're done with your Wiley course and using NINJA only, then go Sniper (3 weeks is enough to listen to the audio 3-4 times, watch the PLUS videos over a long weekend, and skim the NINJA Book over trouble areas). If you still have Wiley videos to go through – then go Scout.

I was planning to spend the 47 on MCQ alone but guess I have no other options but I cant complain about this product because I love it since it helped me pass the other 2 that Becker couldnt. Paying a little extra but in case of a fail I can use the other resources. With 1.5 weeks left while full time should I focus on MCQ?

Focus on MCQ, yes – but I would read the NINJA Notes as many times as possible…put them on your phone make the icon where your FB app used to be – same with flashcards. I would try to read them at least once every two days.
