so i thought my post went thru but looks like it didnt so here i am again. I’ve loved using the flash cards for ninja. i got the 10 point combo for BEC and FAR a few months ago and at the time there was still a fix for flash cards in the works so i went ahead and bought the month membership and just loaded BEC and FAR flash cards all at once. i figured by the time i was ready to move onto my next tests in a few months that there would be a fix. flash forward to today…and theres nothing. i haven’t seen an update or anything. at the least can we get an update every month or so? or at least deduct the cost of whatever the flashcards are factored into the ten point combo and reduce the 10 pt combo by the price of the flashcards until theres a fix…? I know theres also tons of server issues and the 10 pt combo is already drastically reduced prices, or for better words, jeff can definitely charge higher prices and we would all still buy his stuff. but still its better to be told something definitely won’t be working so theres not just one of the NINJA products kinda dangling out in the air with no real concrete answer for its future

I haven't sold the flashcards since January since there wasn't a solution in place with Brainscape and I didn't want a bait-and-switch type of thing where it's like “surprise! Now you have to buy brainscape!” so I opted to not sell them. They also aren't part of the free ninja demos.

I decided to include them with the combo vs leave them out…I still think that was the right decision…I figured I would let the customer decide.

re: Brainscape – I have a deal in place with them – just finalized it…we are now working on polishing them up for the brainscape platform because in the future – instead of messing with csv files – it will be part of the brainscape platform and offerings and if you have iOS – it will be seamless.

In other words – NINJA will be the official CPA Exam flashcards for brainscape.

For Android – you can still use the brainscape site to practice on your phone, I believe.

I know I didn't exactly answer your question – but I hope I shed some light.

For anyone wondering, I messaged brain scape and said “hey I spent $10 for a monthly membership because I wanted to test it out. I decided I liked the product and want to buy a full year membership. Since I spent $10 already can you reduce the annual membership from $35 to $25?” And they said we can give you 20% off and gave me a code

What I did was pay for the one month subscription and uploaded all the ninja flashcards. When the month was up I cancelled my subscription and I still have access to all of them. Only difference is there's certain premium options I can't use, but it's good for what I need.

I would've done that but I didn't have the money at the time to buy all four sections at once. So now I'm getting a full year at $28 so hopefully I'll be done by this time next year

Hi all. I'm using Roger for my studying, got Ninja MCQ's for FAR and thinking about getting the flashcard app. Does anyone know if the $75 will get me access to all the sections?? Seems a lot for just one.

What would be a fair price for 3 mo access? (Similar to the MCQ … can be renewed).

Oh wow that's great news! Thanks!! Will they be available on iphone and android devices too? I think $75 wasn't bad if all the sections were included and at a year membership but for separate sections and 3 month subscription…I don't know…$15-$20?? Either way I would totally pay whatever to help me pass this test!!!and that I can have on my phone. But help our pockets out! 🙂

Is there an update on the flashcards? I was hoping to get a passing score on REG this morning, but alas I went down from a 74 to a 73. This is my last section, and I have got to knock this bad boy out next time!

Jeff – how much would the set of 4 be? If so – maybe 1/3 of that price for just 1 section? (as incentive to get all 4 if needed). Generally speaking – I think $15-$20 seems reasonable relative to the price of other products.
