    It starts off by knocking you down and kicking you, but then you get up and it knocks you down again. Each time you get up a bit stronger and faster. Eventually you knock it down, take its lunch money and kick it in the junk for good measure.

    That's what it's like grinding out Ninja MCQs.

    Sometimes you have to tell an adult and then show them where on a doll did the Ninja MCQs touch you.

    Yes, I have had the up and down with the mcq's. the downs were more frequent when I didn't learn from the questions that were wrong. The ups came when I took my time and read the question, and got it right. consecutively. The downs came again when I didn't know the material like I thought. So learn from the ones that are wrong, and know the material, while you have time. Don't waste your money taking this test with your fingers crossed. Know the material and you will survive the ups and downs with a 75 on the test.

    Did you use those three NINJA study materials exclusively?
    I presumed the MCQs was in replacement of the NINJA book.

    I used those three items exclusively. I would say that the notes replaced the book, but the MCQs were where I really got the material down.

    The notes were great for getting a background in topics that hadn't been covered in college classes – especially IFRS and foreign currency transactions. The audio was good for reinforcing what I learned from the notes.

    How did you study with the MCQs (by whole category or subsections)?

    I did MCQs by subsections as I took notes and only as I had spare time while copying the notes, but once my second round of notes were completed, I let the adaptive learning take over and did random sets from my weakest category over and over until I had a new weakest category – then I repeated the process with the new weakest category.

    Once everything was over 80%, I started doing sets of MCQs from all categories, starting with new questions, then questions I missed last time, then problem questions. Once I ran out of all of those (usually with about 2 weeks to go before exam day), I just did random sets.

    @wombataholic
    Shoot, I was studying MCQ by doing whole categories through the custom tab.
    I'll give the subsection strategy a shot for the governmental category and NFP category, then work again on the first three parts.

    Thanks a bunch.

    I really want to kick the MCQs in the junk. However, I'm still on the floor sobbing from the beatdown I just got. Good Lord.

    It's going. T minus 30 days. Goal is 120 MCQs and 5 sims a day. Family is becoming well acquainted with the joys of microwave cooking. Mount Laundry grows ever higher. Cognitive processes now occur in bullet points. I am the Ernest Hemingway of CPA prep.
