So i’m trying to do the ninja method. I finished up all of my videos (Becker) last night. The only MCQs i have touched so far are the ones that they include in breaks between sections of a video. Starting to rewrite my NINJA notes tonight.

I’m not used to this method, but since i havent passed any section in over a year, it’s worth a shot. But I’m somewhat concerned that i havent done hardly any MCQs. Should i be concerned? The plan is to spend my last weeks doing nothing but MCQs…

but by this point in the other sections, i had done hundreds of MCQs from the Becker software after i watched each lecture. then again, i was still highlighting & underlining everything, instead of taking my own notes.

curious to hear what people think

    test is in 2 1/2 weeks….

    FAR - 1/26/2012 - PASSED (78, but Lost credit), re-do 11/27/2013 - PASSED (87)!
    AUD - EPIC FAIL, 71, 69; 68; 5/25/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    REG - 10/1/2012 - 72; 7/1/2013 - 73 UGH, 10/1/2013 - PASSED (85)!
    BEC - 2/28/2013 - PASSED (82)!

Used Becker self-study materials (just this for FAR original & REG #1), WileyTestBank, NINJA notes/audio, and Roger cram course for AUD #5, REG #3 & FAR reboot. CPA!

You need to adjust the plan for how much time you have until your exam. The second N in NINJA stands for Non-Stop MCQs, so you should be working tons and tons of MCQs into your study plan.

If you spend enough time in the last 2 weeks, you should be able to get through a lot of MCQs. Just make sure when you're rewriting the NINJA Notes you rewrite enough each day so you don't run out of time to do MCQs.

    Good luck!

I was thinking on using yaeger for the AUD exam, my first attempt. I am finishing up my bachelors in March and would like to start with AUD; this is one of my last classes i am taking. I was wondering about ninja notes and if you can purchase it for just AUD. Any help and study tips would be well appreciated! I am new to any cpa forum, so sorry if this is a reoccurring question.

    Thank you

@71hemicuda – Yes you can buy NINJA notes for one section. I like them a lot, but if you sign up for Jeff's free study planner (https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-study-plan/) you will get free samples so you can see what the notes are like.

Other wise, best tips are to make sure you realize this is going to be a big commitment and you need to put the time in. Also, practice MCQs (multiple choice questions) are the key – a big tip from most people on this board is to do MCQs over and over and over again.

    Good luck!
