NINJA Question –
I generally am extremely displeased with CPA excel. For FAR and AUD the videos put me right to sleep. The books made me want to shoot myself.
I managed to pull through and pass FAR, but I recently got my results from AUD and failed with a 71.
The worst part was that I was scoring in the 90’s with CPA excel MCQ’s. I just can’t seem to prepare myself well enough with the SIMS.
So I just shelled out some change for the Ninja AUD MCQ program.
I have to say, I really like the format and style of the MCQ a lot! The SIMS in concept are good as well, but here are my issues with the program and I hope Jeff will address this ASAP
The user interface for selecting SIMS really could use some work!
The SIMS are categorized by numbers! They are not arranged by topic, or at least not that I can easily tell. I wish he would take a look at CPA excel and learn to redesign the format so I can easily find a SIM based on topic. Better yet, let him categorize them exactly like he does the MCQ – had he done that it would make a world of a difference.
Also going from 1 SIM to the next is way too time consuming. way too many clicks.
Jeff, I really don’t mean this in a bad way. I’m a huge fan, and I love so many things about the program. I’m excited to order your REG book when it comes out. I just can’t get over the SIM navigation.
P.s. from the advertising I assumed I would have access to the Authoritative Literature in full, but it’s even more summarized than CPA excel. which is a real shame. I was really hoping it would have more so I could practice for the exam.
