I have done 1500 MCQ and 31 sims and got a 53 on practice exam

my trending score has been as high as 70 but after the practice exam it went down to 65

So can anyone give me there 2 cents worth how I might fare when I take the AUD exam????

I think at a certain point it becomes less about the course you use, but how you retain information. You have to pay attention to the questions you are missing and why? What's the thought process in your head when you answer a question, and if you don't understand a concept well enough to answer that question.

I took AUD twice, and my process went something like this -> CPAExcel – get through the course as fast as possible, buy NINJA, do all questions as fast as possible – supplement with Becker Final Review notes. Failed.

Ninja was about to expire so I opted to use a friend's becker for my second chance

Second attempt -> Focus only on Becker course materials -> Read the explanation for every question you miss, and also look at all the wrong answers and understand why they are wrong. On the exam you will not get the same exact question but the concept behind them will be the same, if you understand why a question is right or wrong then you will be fine.

    FAR - 78*
    AUD - 66, 79
    REG - 73, 76
    BEC - 79

    Thanks ahugemistake
after all the MCQ I have taken, I have had that thought in my mind that the MISSED questions are the ones to look at after I have taken them. or should I say after the MCQ session is over and review them then.

Ninja is good for AUD. This stuff works.

It's not likely you will pass the way you described it. Take it the next window before you forget it.

    AUD - 74, 99 !!
    REG - 74, 92
    BEC - 83
    FAR - 73, 86

ninja is great for aud but you have to start at the beginning and work methodically through the mcq's to the end. the ninja book is totally aligned to the mcq's – i read a section, did mcq's, then did mcq's with prior sections for review and to keep material fresh. i started with custom sessions of ‘new questions' and repeated with ‘missed questions' until i made a 100% in each section and then reviewed and retained the 100% score in each section. i just kept moving forward. when i hit review phase i started doing the sims and did each one at least once, most 2 or 3 times. i did a total of 5400+ questions and pretty much retained 100% trending but only a low 70 average the entire time.
i also read the standards when something didn't sit well with me or i found the answer hard to comprehend. so i read a lot of standards. i printed out the home pages of the aicpa website for audit, attest and review, read at least the descriptive paragraph for each standard and referred to the lists a lot while doing mcq's. this helped prepare for sims.
i had the worst exam experience of my life and thank goodness i was prepared.

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!
and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!

    I agree with Moniker.

When I was taking REG, I crammed in AUD right after (2.5 weeks of studying). Got weaker in (all) MCQs and stronger in SIMS (Pretty sure I got every single SIM right). That led me to a 71 because I didn't do enough MCQs when studying.

Second time around I studied…got a 74. Did really well on MCQs, but got obliterated by the SIMs.

In my opinion, doing MCQs repeatedly (through each section) is probably the best way to go about AUD and throw in some SIM studying.

    FAR 64, 75
    REG 71, 78
    BEC 81
    AUD 71 (barely studied), 74 (why...difficult sims), 80
