I have been using Becker's 2012 full review course to study for each test I take. I have been watching the lectures fully while highlighting and making the necessary notes that they instruct me to. After every section of a chapter I go directly to the MCQ's to use them to reinforce what I just learned instead of watching the entire 4 hour lecture and then doing all the MCQ's. (I have the Becker flash cards as well but have found that I actually do worse when I study them then if I were to not use them.)
I then try and work through the simulation questions that Becker has before going on to the next chapter. I do this for every chapter and then try to leave myself about a week of doing Becker's progress quizzes to review before my exam. I have even started doing the progress quizzes after each chapter as I go along to keep everything fresh as I try to adjust my strategy for round 3 of these tests.
I have begun even rewriting the chapters in note form to help me memorize the notes as well and try and improve my strategy (even though it is incredibly time consuming) as I prep to take REG for the 3rd time. This will be however the first time that I will be studying for a test that I just took rather than moving on to another section so I am hoping that helps.
I also have Becker's Final Review software for the REG section which comes with an additional textbook with summarized notes and MCQ's to work, even though it is only approx another 20 MCQ's for each section in the chapters.
My overall concern Jeff, is that I am planning on taking my REG exam approximately 3 weeks from now and I am concerned that adding additional review materials will only add to the chaos that currently is my study process. I need continuity and a game winning strategy that I am confident in because right now my confidence is at an all time low.
Thanks again for any help or advice you can give me.
